The CERN Webfest is an annual hackathon based on open web technologies, which usually takes place at CERN in Geneva. Once again, our R&D collaborator, CERN openlab, relied on our expertise and technical know-how regarding online hackathons, making us co-organiser of the event. Together, we facilitated an online hackathon on a global scale: about 300 people from 63 different countries had signed up and submitted over 20 innovations related to the event’s motto ‘science, society, and sustainability’, making the hackathon a big success.
